smart, the iconic car brand, has teamed up with Disturbing London, the entertainment lifestyle company which manages artists such as Tinie Tempah, Sasha Keable, Melissa Steel and Wiz Kid, to make a series of five mini-documentary style films showing how practical, versatile and easy to drive the smart forfour is.
The collaboration has put smart’s spacious four-seater, the smart forfour, at the heart of Disturbing London’s summer activities and the films give an intimate, behind the scenes glimpse into the company, including music, parties, festivals and fashion.
Today is the release of smart Disturbs Your Commute, with UK rap artist, Tinie Tempah, picking up Radio 1 DJ and TV presenter, Greg James, from home and taking him to work, showing just how much fun a smart can be on the daily commute, especially in London.
The other episodes include smart Disturbs Ibiza; Disturbing London took a smart forfour to the holiday island to be the perfect vehicle to support Tinie Tempah and his team when they held their sold-out weekly pool party “Disturbing Ibiza”.
In smart Disturbs Festivals, the smart forfour was used by DJ Charlesey to transport his equipment to summer festivals all over the UK, showing that despite its compact dimensions the interior of the car is surprisingly spacious.
smart’s stylish good looks made sure the car was completely at home during June’s London Collections Men in the episode smart Disturbs Fashion when Tinie Tempah and his manager Dumi Oburota, founder of Disturbing London, arrived at some of the coolest catwalk shows in a smart forfour. The pair also took advantage of the smart fortwo, smart’s agile two-seater car. At just 2.69 metres long, it still attracted a lot of attention when it made an appearance at London Collections Men.
The full #smartdisturbsLDN documentary about the collaboration was shown for the first time at an exclusive event on Thursday, 15 October in Shoreditch Studios, London.

Krishan Bodhani, Head of smart UK, said: “The smart collaboration with Disturbing London has been a very natural partnership between two brands which are both on an exciting journey - it perfectly defines what smart is about. smart was originally known for the iconic two-seater smart fortwo, but now there’s the smart forfour, providing everything our customers expect from a smart, but with added practicality and rear seats.”
Dumi Oburota, CEO of Disturbing London, added: “At Disturbing London we always try to disturb the creative landscapes in which we work; whether that’s music or fashion. It made total sense for us to work with smart this summer as the brand has such a cool thing going on. smart has always known what smart is about, never tried to compete with anyone else and always stayed in its own lane.”
